Your host, Valen, is a kidney and liver transplant recipient who has lived with polycystic kidney disease since childhood. As a patient advocacy leader for over 20 years, she fosters connection, drives change, and empowers others through education and storytelling. With a lifetime of experience managing multiple chronic illnesses, she combines expertise and compassion to guide every conversation.
